Prepare matcha tea the authentic way with the Avanti Matcha Cermonial Tea Set. The ceremonial Japanese set consists of three components that make up the main aspects of the tea making ceremony. The classic matcha bowl (Chawan) is wide and deep allowing the matcha to be fully mixed. It is crafted from clay and kiln fired to transform it into hardened ceramic. The traditional whisk (Chasen) – slit vertically 80 times and scoop (Chashaku) are each handcrafted from a single piece of environmentally sustainable bamboo. The purpose of the whisk is to mix and aerate the matcha, giving it a rich and creamy froth and creating a lump free tea. The bamboo offers the perfect balance of firmness and flexibility to work the Matcha from powder into a tea. The scoop (chasaku) measures out the perfect amount of your matcha powder as well as stirring your matcha when it settles. The beautiful set will elevate in style of kitchen. The perfect gift for a tea lover and it already comes presented in a beautiful gift box. Handwashing is recommended to preserve the lead-free glaze of the bowl and to make sure it doesn’t get damaged.
